Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the XYA mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and premium subscribers.

App Usage & License

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use XYA for personal, non-commercial wellness tracking and self-observation.

Restrictions

  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Do not use the app for illegal, harmful, or misleading purposes
  • Do not interfere with app security or functionality
  • Do not share account access or impersonate others
  • Do not use XYA to make medical or diagnostic decisions

IMPORTANT: XYA is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice.

XYA is a wellness awareness tool designed to help users observe visual patterns and changes in appearance over time.

XYA DOES:

  • Track visual characteristics such as color, texture, and brightness
  • Help users notice patterns and trends over time
  • Support personal awareness and habit reflection
  • Provide educational content related to general wellness research

XYA DOES NOT:

  • Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
  • Measure clinical biomarkers (e.g., vitamin levels, blood markers)
  • Measure circadian rhythm or internal physiological states
  • Provide medical, nutritional, or therapeutic advice
  • Replace professional medical evaluation or testing

Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical questions, symptoms, diagnosis, or treatment decisions.

Subscription & Payment Terms

Premium Features

Certain features require a paid subscription, which may include:

  • Extended visual history tracking
  • Enhanced pattern comparison tools
  • Additional educational insights
  • Priority customer support

Billing & Cancellation

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
  • You may manage or cancel subscriptions via your app store account
  • Refunds follow Apple App Store / Google Play policies
  • Cancellation applies at the end of the billing period

Data Use & User Control

You retain control over your personal data. XYA allows users to delete their data at any time through the app or by contacting support.

  • Images and related data are used only for visual pattern tracking
  • Data is not sold or shared for medical profiling
  • Deleted data is permanently removed from active systems

Limitations & Liability

XYA is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XYA is not liable for:

  • Health or lifestyle decisions made based on app observations
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data due to device or third-party issues
  • Misuse of the app beyond its intended wellness purpose
